The double room at Las Flores Econativo had a private bathroom with a choice of a bath or shower, which was great for relaxing after a long day of exploring. I absolutely loved that the room had a private entrance and a patio, giving it a cozy and intimate feel. The tile/marble floor added a touch of elegance too.
Personally, I wasn't a huge fan of the bidet in the private bathroom. But hey, that's just my preference and others might find it useful.

A private beach area: We felt like beachfront royalty, with our very own piece of paradise just steps away from our room. The powdery white sand, crystal-clear waters, and gentle waves made us feel like we were in a postcard-perfect tropical dream.
No screens on windows: A few unwanted mosquito visitors managed to share our space during the evenings. But hey, it's nature's way of reminding us that we're not in a stuffy, air-conditioned hotel, right?

For the price we paid, our stay at Las Flores Econativo was simply amazing. The room was cozy and comfortable, and the location was perfect for exploring the island. The staff, especially Maria and Jose, were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable.
Hotel breakfast could use a little improvement, maybe by adding more variety to the options.

I recently stayed at a lovely hostel in Isla Grande. The owners, Maria and Jose, were incredibly kind and generous. They took the time to show us around the island, took us on canoe rides, and cooked delicious meals, especially the fish. Staying here supports an indigenous family and the accommodations are modest but cheap. Plus, they accept card payments but it's good to bring cash just in case.

This place is definitely rustic, but the hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming. They took the time to show us around the island and even took us on canoe rides. The food was delicious, especially the fish, which was cooked by the host herself. The accommodations were modest but cheap, and staying here allowed us to support an indigenous family. They even accepted card payments, although it's advisable to bring cash just in case.
The location is a bit far from the main attractions and nice beaches on the island.

Jose and Maria, the lovely hosts, welcomed us with open arms and made us feel right at home. the ecolodge had spacious rooms with powerful and silent fans, ensuring a comfortable and peaceful sleep. the personal care provided by the owners was exceptional, and the affordable price made it even more appealing. Maria, who is indigenous to the island, prepared delicious meals, especially the fish. By staying here, we were able to support an indigenous family and contribute to the island's local community. the lodge's location allowed us to explore the island and experience its true beauty beyond just the beach. it was a fantastic experience!
It was all superb! 👌.
